If you’re missing home, feeling a bit far from family, or simply don’t want Christmas to slip by in silence, this is your place. Organised by the incredible Nandara Nerys (@nandanerys), it’s all about bringing the community together for a Christmas that feels like home.

The Brazilian Cultural Centre (@brazilianculturalcentre) is opening the doors for a warm, welcoming community Christmas where you can eat together, sing along, dance a little, and feel surrounded by people who get it. Come solo, bring the kids, bring your mates. You’ll leave lighter.

Lineup: Samba Roots live samba circle (6:00 pm to 8:00 pm)
When: Sun 21 Dec, 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm AEDT

• A full Christmas feast included with every ticket

Welcome the new year the way it should feel: live Brazilian music, big smiles, and a dance floor that does not quit.

Cria do Samba is bringing the warm, community vibe to Dee Why with a full afternoon session at Time & Tide Hotel, featuring Maitê Inaê and a stacked band mixing Afro-Brazilian soul, MPB, samba and bossa, followed by a proper samba circle with Cria to keep everyone moving into the evening.

It is the kind of Saturday where you show up for a gig and leave feeling like you just found your people.
