Re.Sonãncia – Afro-Futuristic Dancefloor Experience
🔥 Re.Sonãncia lands in Sydney for a day-to-night sonic journey — 10 hours of dancefloor energy blending Afro-diasporic rhythms, broken beats and tropical soundscapes.
🎶 Flying in from Belo Horizonte, Brazil, Omoloko brings his genre-bending sets of House, Disco, Kwaito, Techno and Brazilian Funk — fresh off his birthday tour across Asia and Oceania.
✨ Curated by Astronafrica, co-father of Mixagi and longtime cultural instigator, Re.Sonãncia carries an Afro-futuristic edge where experimentation, anthropophagic club sounds and inclusive dancefloors collide. Local tastemakers Señor Bolivar, Lu Faria, Dus, Fanático Crew and Mariachi join the line-up, pushing forward-thinking sounds late into the night.

Women United Collective – Talks, Workshops & Connection
🌸 Women United Collective brings women together in a safe, welcoming circle to share, learn and empower.
💬 Talks and workshops dive into vital topics: immigrant women’s mental health, domestic violence, breastfeeding and postpartum, obstetric violence, navigating bureaucracy in Australia, self-esteem, sexuality and support for women 50+.
👩🏽🤝👩🏼 Hosted at the Brazilian Cultural Centre, the day includes psychologists, doulas, and a breastfeeding specialist, plus smaller group circles to connect more deeply. A kids’ space and Brazilian café make it a warm and family-friendly environment.
